According to American Express Travel, Copenhagen should be among the most popular travel destinations in the world in 2023.
Highlighting the Danish capital’s bike-friendly infrastructure, charming canals, gastronomy gems and cafe scene,

One for the affluent
American Express Travel even prepared a three-day itinerary for visitors looking to explore the city – clearly it was aimed at high-end clientele.
Day one features checking in to Hotel D’Angleterre, checking out Nørrebro and dining at Geranium, while day two features trips to the Round Tower, Rosenborg Castle and a meal at Noma.
Finally, day three includes an architectural tour by bike and a dip in Aire’s ancient baths in Carlsberg Byen.
“With their progressive attitude towards everything from fine-dining to hotel design—the Danish know how to live well,” the preview concluded.
The other nine destinations on the list are Paris, Istanbul, Lisbon, Montenegro, Fiji, Sydney, Mexico City, Vermont and the Florida Keys.
