Airlie Beach is celebrating a victory at the recent Top Tourism Town awards presented by the Queensland Tourism Industry Council.
The community won the ‘Best Small Tourism Town’ category for a population no bigger than five thousand people.
Whitsunday Chamber of Commerce President Allan Milostic says it’s great timing as the region sees strong tourism numbers following two years of a pandemic downturn.
