Winter has officially arrived, and the temperature drop is quickly getting Aussies thinking about their next getaway.
But the decision first comes down to – do you want snow or sun?
New Wotif research reveals 44 per cent of Aussies are planning to stay within the country for their holiday. “Whether it’s the sandy beaches in Queensland or the Southern Lights in Tasmania, there’s something for everyone when it comes to an Aussie winter getaway,” Wotif Managing Director Daniel Finch said.
New Booking.com search data trends also confirms Australians are keen to hit the slopes but also get their fix of sun by visiting warmer winter destinations.
