The summer tourism season is in full swing across New York and relief for businesses who rely on travel dollars is sorely needed.

The industry took a deep hit in the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, shedding jobs and profit along the way. But the industry continues to face challenges.

Hiring staff remains a key concern for employers in the tourism sector of the economy. Provost spoke with Capital Tonight on Thursday about the industry’s outlook this summer so far.
