Assistant Professor Nick Johnston, assistant professor of hospitality management in the School of Human Environmental Sciences, is featured on WalletHub this month. Johnston was chosen by WalletHub to participate on a panel of 16 experts who provided information and opinions on the best travel credit cards.

The panel was made up of personal finance and travel industry experts who addressed four questions posed by WalletHub: how much can the best travel credit cards save frequent travelers, does it make sense to get even the best travel credit card if you only travel once or twice a year, is $1 in cash back more valuable than $1 in a hotel’s/airline’s points/miles and are the best travel credit cards generally associated with a particular hotel chain/airline?

In addition to the panel responses, the article covers the editor’s picks for the best travel credit cards and provides tips for choosing and using them.

Johnston joined the Hospitality Management program in August.
